“The rooms were magnificent. Along with that the staff here was an absolute delight. Welcoming us when we returned and seeing us out the door just as if we were their children leaving for the day. A wonderful Japanese experience. 10 minute walk to tram station and multiple bus stops that will get you anywhere. 6 minute walk to a shopping street littered with people shops, and food alike. ”

“入住過程順暢，房間整潔乾淨，空間寬敞，本次入住連續六日，每日皆提供清潔服務。搭乘電梯需刷卡，確保住宿安全。一樓大廳隨時提供飲料(免費的包含柳橙汁、綠茶、冰/熱咖啡、各式茶包)及多樣麵包。地點位於地下鐵2號出口附近，可搭乘烏丸線及東西線，交通非常便利。是一次舒適、輕鬆的住宿體驗。下次在京都的住宿會優先考慮入住。”

“It’s not too far from train stations (within 15 min walk), while it’s close enough with the local residents. We lived in a 3-people room. An excellent choice for 3 people who perfer a large living and private space. Different types of bedding are available for those with different preference. The washing machine has drying function which is great for a long stay. ”

“This is the second time I wrote the review for this guesthouse. My first review for Micasa was gone when I click the send button, but I want to finish writing the review to let more people know Micasa and how good this place is. The facilities are very new. The overall interior has that calm, clean, and a little bit zen feeling. Our family especially likes their bathroom, it was quite a enjoyment to use a bathroom like that. “Staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable and comfortable. Giving us time and space but also available when needed. We incorporated dinner and breakfast which I highly recommend. Such a unique experience to stay in a matchiya. The place was absolutely stunning. ”

“Hotel Shikisai Kyoto was a great choice for our stay in Kyoto. Since we were staying 6 nights, we wanted a larger room and that’s what this hotel specializes in. Our room was like a suite and included a laundry machine. Used that machine to wash a small load every day. No money required. There were only 2 rooms per floor, so very quiet. Never even saw the other guests. Room was very clean and the staff serviced it everyday. You can opt out of service but it was great having the room refreshed……
