“We were so surprised by what was hiding behind the entrance door to this stay. A non descript metal door opened onto the cutest gravel courtyard and beyond that a lovely vineyard. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We decided last minute to join other guests for dinner and a wine pairing. My gluten free diet was accommodated and the food was amazing. “Our stay at Quinta de La Rosa was absolutely perfect. First of all, the property is beautiful. The rooms are large and have everything you need, including complimentary craft beers. The restaurant was one of the best we had in Portugal with the best red wine I’ve had. Their complimentary breakfast was also amazing. We had to leave early before breakfast on our last day and they offered to give us take home breakfast which I’ve never experienced at any other hotel. 13/10 would definitely……

“Its a great experience living in the barrel. Every customer staying there include one wine tasting tour, understand more about Port wine. However, moving there or other spots might possibly need to drive. No public transport reaching the area.”

“I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. At check-in, I was thoughtfully greeted and allowed to retreat to my room well over 3 hours early. Reception encouraged me to get some rest when I mentioned I was quite tired, and that they’d be happy to give me a tour once rested if this was my preference.
