“Hotel aconchegante na Serra da Estrela. Café da manhã bom. O restaurante do hotel poderia funcionar no domingo e na segunda também, pois ficamos sem opção no hotel, mas nos indicaram uma ótima alternativa de restaurante nos arredores. O quarto não é muito grande, mas estava limpo e confortável. Ótimo banheiro. Uma das toalhas de banho estava rasgada. Gostamos de termos estacionamento gratuito para carros.”

“This was an absolutely marvelous place. Admittedly there is not much to do in this quiet village, but we found that the comfort of the home kept us very happy. We especially enjoyed the fireplace with firewood included to create a very cozy ambience. The room is very thoughtfully designed and has lots of light. The staff at the breakfast were very kind and provided excellent service. I really enjoyed the chance to customise our breakfast before arrival. I would absolutely return here on a future……

“A fine place to stay, but it’s PR is not helped by the unattractive photo of the indoor pool which is prominent in its advertising. I would suggest a shot of the town of Manteigas from the hotel- a beautiful vista indeed.”

“The resort is amazing! I loved the calmness. The outside pool had a perfect water temperature. The SPA pools were a bit too hot and the water is too deep, not ideal for small people. I loved the relaxing area next to the river. The massage was also amazing. The staff was lovely. I had dinner in the Root restaurant, my dish was good, especially the caldo verde. “Great staff, clean room and convenient. There was a lot of outdoor yelling/people noise until 530 a.m. Apparently, there's a club nearby. Even with the windows shut you could hear them. ”
