“1951 log home with huge fireplace, woodstove, hot tub and sauna. Beautiful views. Great location near Lassen Volcanic National Park. Remember to gas up and bring food. Only on country store nearby with limited options. Only a couple of restaurants too although I'm sure there are more options in season. Checkin is at Noon which gives you most of the day to get settled. Brandon lives nearby and makes sure everything is ready for your arrival. No wifi and limited cell service so you are truly off……

“Beautiful property and a cozy space to stay while visiting Lassen. What a lovely stay! Great communication and has everything we needed. One downside however was that the charging station for electric vehicles cost extra and wasn't advertised as such.”

“Beautiful lake location. Loved watching the evening sunset from the deck. Lots of room to spread out. Lovely quiet neighborhood. I don't recommend trying to get down to the water if your senior or carrying a child. Great retreat are so close to boat rentals. Thank you so much!”

“Stayed at the Zen Den while visiting the Shasta/Redding area. Centrally located to a lot of sightseeing activities, grocery and restaurants. The gardens are lovely! Unfortunately due to the mosquitos we were not able to enjoy the fire pit or the tub. The inside is clean and has all needs to a comfortable stay. The shower is a bit small, but made do. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, except on last day a neighbor had yard work done, so the leaf blower was in full force as we were……

“We had a large group of family/friends stay at this place for 4 nights. There were several adjustments we had to make to be comfortable but it was an overall positive stay. Although we knew there was no a/c, it was 105 degrees when we arrived and the home was around 94 degrees inside which was too much to handle, so we had to open all the windows and hang out outside until it was cool enough at night to come in. Also there was no ladder to climb up to the top bunk bed and there was a 74 year old……

“Went to visit my son who attends Chico state. Place was cute. Kitchen very small and old appliances but I didn’t plan any meals there. Bed was very comfortable. First night was a little chilly and there weee no extra blankets. I reached out and was brought a blanket that day. I would recommend to the owners to have more than one coffee cup, maybe a throw blanket in the living room and supply more than two towels in the bathroom. Also there were two heavy trash cans placed in front of the gate……

“Our two families enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Plenty of space for our large group. Everything we needed was in the cabin. David responded quickly to my question and made sure we had everything we needed. ”
