“Beautiful cabin in beautiful setting. Cabin was well furnished, had well stocked kitchen, and modern amenities. There were lots of attractions within 30 minute, scenic drives from the cabin such as Tanglewood, Monument Mountain, and other Berkshire and Columbia County attractions. Avid cyclists will find smooth roads with good shoulders and light traffic. As noted n another review, there is a rail line about one mile from the cabin, thus inevitable noise on occasion. It was well worth the trade……

“The house is very comfortable and perfect for visiting with family and friends.We enjoyed the roomy kitchen space. The porch is great for relaxing and gazing at the tranquil lake. We appreciated the use of the canoe and the dock.”

“This cottage was ideally placed in a quiet neighborhood, but within a short driving distance to Lime Rock Park and the village center of Lakeville. The rooms were large, the beds comfortable, well-stocked with essentials (towels, toilet paper, coffee maker filters, etc.), and there was plenty of off street parking. Once the host and I made contact, she responded quickly to my questions. ”

“Check was easy and smooth, extra directions communicated were great, the use of water toys were wonderfully appreciated. We had a very short stay for an event but would highly recommend and would absolutely stay again. ”

Jing was a quick, kind and cordial communicator. The house location was quiet and tranquil. Nearby lake was within walking distance and delightful.”

“What a lovely spot! Beds were so so comfortable and everything was perfect. We attended a wedding just a mile or so down the road so the location was incredible. One thing to note is that the bathroom is in one of the rooms so if two couples went it might be awkward if everyone isn’t 100% comfortable with each other. ”

“Awesome property! If you want a quiet, relaxing experience, this is the place for you! Hiking trails galore. Our host was VERY responsive to any of our questions. Cottage was charming and roomy for 4 adults. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool but it looked refreshing!! Looking forward to another stay here.”

“Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats.……

“This was a beautiful little cottage, very clean and modern, with everything you could need. Location was great, easy to get to, and close to so many great restaurants. We especially loved that it was pet-friendly! We had a great time and hope to be back soon! ”

“From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming. The home was simple, quaint, and super cozy. Perfect for a nice long relaxing weekend for both the dogs and people. The views from the sun room were lovely. The deck/patio area had a beautiful view of the water. The fire pit was a nice perk in the evening. Surrounded by water, the place felt so private.……

“The location of the house was very near for food and supplies,yet very private. The inside was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the quietness and surrounding grounds with views of local wild life. The things that we did not like was the musty - moldy smell when we first got there. Every time you used the water it smelled. Red light on fridge for changing filter. Bought spring water to use for drinking, coffee, and cooking. All reported to host upon departure.”
