“It was a cozy, peaceful retreat. Our host was exceptionally nice and made sure to provide everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The house was in a great spot that it was only a short jaunt in any direction to the places we wanted to go. “Loved this property! Clean, incredibly spacious, great location. Communication with Robin was fantastic, she went above and beyond during our stay. House is very well stocked. Plenty of bath and beach towels, chairs, umbrellas. Our group agreed the house felt much bigger than it did in photos. The addition over the garage is perfect for some added privacy while not being inaccessible from the rest of the group. Would recommend this place! ”

Large dining table for eating or to play games… air conditioners in all rooms kept place nice and cold which is sooo valuable! Great communication with owners with my questions. Would definitely recommend!!”

“We had a fantastic stay at "The Wakefield". Our extended family of 15 people from ages of 18 to 90 and two small dogs had a fabulous time. The location was fantastic. It is within a couple blocks of downtown Wakefield with its cute shops, art studios, WWII museum and Brinkley's ice cream and it is just a half-hour to Newport for fun day excursions, and within 10 minutes to some wonderful RI Beaches. “We enjoyed the quiet and natural beauty of our surroundings. Sitting on the deck every morning with a hot cup of coffee and a chorus of singingbirds. Perfect start to the day! Hosts were available and ready to help, but the cottage felt very private. Bristol, the family dhrpherd was beautiful and funny. All great! Highly recommend it!”

“The property was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable and you can tell that the owners have put a lot of love into the house. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had prior to arriving and while we were staying there.The view from the 2nd floor of the ocean and Block Island is amazing! It is approx. .25 mile walk to Grenn Hill Beach...so very convenient.”
