“Great stay. We spent the week in Pasadena for the Rose Bowl parade and football game. Having this pool house to come back to each day made the trip that much better. The host was extremely responsive and friendly. My kids loved the hot tub and my wife loved the fireplace in the house. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.”

“If you want to stay in South Pasadena, this property has an excellent location as so much is walkable - the train, the grocery store, lots of restaurants, the library. We appreciated also that there are a lot of spices and some condiments and that food preparation was easy. It is nice to have an office space if one is doing some work. It is a small space.”

“We needed a house to stay for a few non-local crew members for a film shoot. We didn't spend much time in the house, but it was clean and organized with plenty of amenities for us. We had a little hiccup with the lockbox but the owner was responsive immediately and we solved within minutes. The internet was a little flaky in one of the rooms, just as a caution for anyone planning on doing virtual work in the house, but there was no problem with cell signal. “This is our second stay at the Zen Treehouse. I actually don't want to write this review, because I want to book this spot for every time I visit L.A.. AJ has thought of literally everything to make the stay easy and relaxing--- including the kitchen being fully stocked. What else can I say... the furniture is plush, the outdoor spots are bathed in sun, with birds chirping, and beautiful views. She was warm and responsive when I called with questions. Relax and enjoy!”

“We loved our stay in this impeccably decorated cottage suite. The yard is beautiful and the neighborhood is clean and safe. The bed was so comfortable and the furnishings beautiful. The huge walk in shower was an extra bonus after a dip in the spa. I enjoyed lounging on the patio during the day. The kitchen is well stocked and having the washer and dryer was really nice. “The area has no internet or phone reception, making it difficult to check in. I believe the host should have informed us of this in advance. Parking is available on the street across from the house, so be sure to check. The house is beautiful and filled with vintage furniture, but the toilet and kitchen are connected by a sliding door.
