“Last minute break away with my son, staff very friendly and very helpful. Everything was there in the kitchen people were friendly and there were no issues. However the only down side of the stay was the bed, it was solid, uncomfortable, and I awoke a couple of times in agony with my back. I'm not use to such a firm bed. ”

“This was a charming country house hotel, with friendly and professional staff. However the room was a huge disappointment. While sold as small bedroom nothing prepared us for how small. No room to sit or put anything. The small furniture had the appearance of having born bought in a jumble sale. A hotel which purports to be a quality country house hotel, with rates to match, should have no rooms like this so inconsistent with a 'Hotel of Distinction'. The bathroom extractor fan sounded like……

“Great staff and great food & drinks at the pub. Easy parking and we were welcomed the moment we opened the door. Room was comfortable and it's very easy to get to the Holy Island from here. I would definitely recommend staying here, as I know we would again. ”
