“I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley. I would definitely stay here again.”

“The bed was comfortable and clean. Nice decor. Chairs were not comfortable, too low. Nobody on the premises during the night. No emergency phone numbers supplied. Very little in the way of literature about the area. Security of residents’ rooms was questionable. Members of the public had access to the stairs near the front door to the bar.”

“Hotel was very ornate and a beautiful setting for a wedding. A bit dated and worn in areas but that makes it charming. Too warm in the bedroom and couldn’t turn the bathroom radiator off which provided all the heat. Bed was comfy. Carpets needed to be cleaned. Gym had very basic and minimal equipment and floors were dirty and looked to have not been cleaned for while. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. ”

“We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall.”

“The bed and breakfast experience lived up to its billing with prompt and excellent service from Michelle whenever requested. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide range of choices and the rooms were kept tidy with the suite providing the opportunity to relax in private. ”

“Dinner and cooked breakfast was very good. Room basic but clean but no heating on when we got in so very cold until we put radiators on also cold eating downstairs on the evening had to put another jumper on to be comfortable ”

“Value for money. Yes it’s on the A1 but don’t let that bother you. Inside you can’t hear a thing and all bedrooms are on the opposite side and overlooking the fields to Banburgh Castle and the frame isles lighthouse. The property is in a convenient position to get to many places. Such as the Castle, Holy island, Seahouses and Berwick on Tweed. Good is excellent and the staff are great and friendly. Thanks ”
