“This was an excellent place to stay for exploring Northumberland. It is right of the A1 with a petrol station nearby and several Tesla chargers on the site also! Despite being so close to the road the rooms are very quiet. The staff are very friendly and cheery and everything seems to run smoothly. Super breakfasts included. Next door is a great cafe with really good food and drinks at excellent prices- serving hot food (from fish and chips to lasagnes or roast, or giant Yorkshire puddings with……

“Friendly service, especially at the front desk and the cleaners. Happy with the room, very nice/clean bathroom. Restaurant - limited options if vegetarian or vegan. Very "traditional" style but no real complaints ”

“The food was very good in the restaurant. The decor everywhere is lovely. It has a nice setting, staff were very pleasant. The smell of sewage outside in the area where our hot tub was awful and wasn't good when trying to sit outside apparently an ongoing problem. The sofa bed also needs to be renewed I sat on the end and fell through it. My poor kids had to sleep on it.”

“We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall.”
