While the occasion was a sad one due to a family bereavement, every single member of staff made the pain less, professional and sensitive service, attention to detail and an empathetic attitude, simply superb. We stayed in the Grange and it was lovely, the food was excellent and the setting impressive. Highly recommend, we will definitely stay again. ”

“Nice and clean hotel. Perfect location and walking distance into amble. Decent food when we ate in the hotel on sat night although a few items had run out. Breakfast was buffet style but decent choice. Great place to stay if you have a dog with ground floor rooms with outside access.Mattress very hard but would stay again.”

“Enjoyed a pleasant short stay here as a family. Service in the pub/restaurant/breakfast was prompt and friendly and food was good quality and value. Our room was unexpectedly warm for the time of year, despite radiators being turned-down but there was already a good fan in the room to counter this. We had no issues with noise despite being above the pub. ”
