“The location was excellent. Morpeth is a beautiful town and everything is within easy walking distance of the Premier Lodge. My only criticism is that the Lodge is a red brick building and looks nothing like the photo. Nothing wrong with it though.”

“Booked last minute as we needed to break our journey. Arrived at 20.30 hrs. Staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. As food was only served till 9pm we put our bags in the room and came down for some food. The menu looked good and what we ordered didnt dissapoint. I especially loved the chips qhich were treble cooked. Our room was clean and fairly basic, in a nice sort of way. “Pros: close to train station and restaurants, great breakfast (semi-buffet), value for money Cons: room is a but dusty, and some rooms are located in between 2 floors so you need to climb a few steps with your luggage, rmb to send a note to the hotel if you carry heavy luggage to avoid such rooms.”

We were given a smaller room than we had asked for (images do not match the actual state of the room), and the air conditioner is broken; we were provided with fans but we do not have proper ventilation in our room, causing the room to be very hot and stuffy, and after taking a shower the room becomes very damp.
