“We enjoyed staying at the chalet on Sixteen Mile Lake! We were all very comfortable and woke up to a beautiful snowy, winter scene! We only stayed one night but we enjoyed playing a board game by the fire place, and we appreciated the little details, like the books and figurines in the bunk room. A great experience!”

“We loved this place, it felt like home. It was quite, new and for the most part comfy. We brought to much stuff so not exaxtly enough room to put everything but we were outside most of time anyway. If there was a negative that I have to say us that we couldnt get any TV, like there was no internet and the bed might have abeen a bit hard for my back. But with that said if we ever come back this was we will never rent a hotel room, only Explore will we rent. Loved it😁”

“Awesome place to stay, so convenient to everything. The contactless checkin and checkout was perfect. We stayed two nights and had a fire in the pit with the wood provided! We will be looking for Properties like EXPLORE to stay at when traveling again.”

“This property was absolutely amazing! The studio was perfect size for my fiance and I and we really enjoyed hiking around the property. Although the houses were close together, we couldn’t hear the neighbors at all. Views were great and the place was immaculately clean. The only thing is that we had about 5 minutes of hot water in the shower before it turned cold. No big deal at all and we’re not complaining, just wouldn’t have tried to wash my thick hair if I knew. Still, I absolutely recommend……

“Stayed for a couple of nights while checking out some sights at pictured rocks. Place is well kept and newer looking. It was nice to have our own separate mini house with all that we needed. Parking was a little small but it worked for us with just a car. Great experience. ”

“We came up to Munising for a quick weekend snowmobile trip. This little place was all we needed. The trailer parking lot that is listed is quite small and was already completely full when we arrived early evening Friday though, so be prepared for that. It was easy to check in with the keypad. The house was clean and had new finishes. With all the snow, the one way loop was a tight squeeze getting out with the parked vehicles, but overall we had a great stay. One thing we would suggest is to add……

“Very peaceful and nice setup for the studios. Nice walking path to the falls. And had some really friendly people also staying in other studios. Fire pit was a great plus to the experience. Definitely will stay again for my next stay. Only complaint would be hearing the highway traffic. But i would stay again for sure.”

“The property was beautiful and the amenities were nice. My only couple of complaints is that the windows were absolutely filthy so gazing at the stars was difficult. The hot water heater has minimal hot water. I think that could be fixed by an adjustment on the temperature dial as we had to have it on for.”

“Love the place for 2. Parking a 30ft trailer and gettin sleds out was hard. We wanted our truck for after riding. The snow tunnel is big.. needs to be 3 ft wider.. But we will always go back They have the snow!! Can’t wait to go back Thanks ”

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
