“The place is very quaint but a bit tight for our group. For example, you could not open the basement door and the back door at the same time. This made unpacking and reloading a challenge. The downstairs "lounge" was somewhat finished with painted walls floor and overhead. Very low ceilings down there as well. My 6'4" husband banged his head more than a few times. Not sure the basement bath and bedroom addition would considered code as there was no egress from the basement. But our stay was……

“Great house for two families (one kid each). The host was very attentive. The dishwasher was broken and she had a technician out the night we arrived to fix it. We thought the pack n play was broken and she immediately ordered a new one that was delivered in 30 minutes. The set up is great with a good-sized living room, eat-in kitchen, and outdoor deck and large yard. Convenient location for our visits around the suburbs. ”

“Difficulty in accessing the site with house rules, che in, and checkout instructions. Kitchen was adequately stocked, nice decor and clean. Accurate description of by the tracks- train does blow the whistle late night and early morning but oddly got used to it. Location was close to wedding venue, so that was helpful”

“The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River.”

“We stayed for two weeks to see various family members who came and went as schedules allowed. Overall, the house is great on many levels, if lacking in a few specific areas. First, the great, the hosts are incredibly receptive, friendly, helpful and gave the distinct impressions that they want to make your stay as good as possible. The common spaces are wonderful as well as the main pool, with plenty of space for people of all ages to enjoy themselves. Next, the good, the dining rooms were great……

“We had a birthday celebration for our mother at the home. Everything was great! There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the property. The weather was great so some family members spent time reading outside in the screened-in gazebo. The children played on the playground, and it was nice for them to have a place to play safely. The kitchen and family room were on the lower level, which worked out well. Kitchen was well stocked. We ate, laughed, and watched movies together. The sectional……
