“We stayed for two nights with our family of five plus one ridiculous dog, opting to get acquainted with the college town after the scheduled events on campus. It was so nice to have a place to come back and rest and make some of our meals which made it more comfortable and affordable than a couple of hotel rooms would have been. The host was very responsive. Listing is complete and informative, then the house manual answers all your other questions once you arrive. The home is rural so plan……

“We really enjoyed our stay! We were in town for a CrossFit competition and it was so relaxing to come back to the peace and quiet in the evening. We have traveled a lot and I have to say this was the “cleanest” vacation rental I have ever stayed in! Loved the history of the family home and the prompt communication from the owner. Will definitely stay here again when we visit the area!! ”

“Awesome room to shoot pool. The house is great with everything we needed. Great back porch, and we even had breakfast on the front porch, too. The property is quiet and relaxing and a pretty view out back. Quick 10-20 minute drive to Rock Island state park, depending on which side of the river you want to be on. Great stay, would love to stay again.”

“BEAUTIFUL, RELAXING AND VERY CLEAN. GREAT PLACE FOR A FISHING GETAWAY, FOR A FAMILY TO RELAX AND RECONNECT. PLENTY OF WILDLIFE TO SEE. THEY HAVE THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING FROM KIDS TO ADULTS IN THIS PLACE. FROM CORNHOLE TO BOARD GAMES TO SMOKERS AND GRILLS. THEY HAVE IT ALL, EVEN THE ITEMS YOU FORGET! THEY HAVE MADE IT SO ENJOYABLE WE WILL BE BACK. THE OWNERS HAVE THOUGHT OF EVEYTHING!! FROM SOAP TO COFFEE FILTERS.”
