“Beautiful farm with a gorgeous view of Etna and the sea. Surrounded by citrus trees and access to a sparkling swimming pool. We were early in the season and the only guests and Vera and her family looked after us beautifully. We were greeted by their sweet, friendly dog, Lilli who is expecting puppies (!!!) and was the highlight of our visit. She is possibly the nicest dog I’ve ever met. Our room was beautiful, traditional and super clean. We had dinner there one night and it was delicious and……

“The property is located in a beautiful area, far from the commotion of the cities... Authentic agriturismo with delicious home-made local products from their garden. The host and personnel is very helpful and friendly. The downside is, like many places in Sicily, the non-stop barking of dogs around the property, which can be irritating when trying to sleep...”

“The property is very beautiful and the views of the sea from the slope of the Etna are spectacular. Very quiet, comfortable accommodations, very nice swimming pool. The location is excellent, a short drive to the sea and also close to Taormina and Catania, which was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would love to go back for a longer stay.”

“The Masseria Santacatrina is a wonderful unexpected surprise. The owners and staff are gracious and terrific keepers of this 6 generation farm. The rooms are neatly appointed and well thought out. You do need a vehicle however it is centrally located to explore from Etna to Agrigento. We will definitely stay here again. ”

“Never felt the need to write a bad review before. Not getting sleep for nights because of 3 constant barking farm dogs literally next to the apartment made us. The renting neighbors had the same problem. Earplugs weren't enough. After several sleepless nights we reached out to the property manager. His answer on our message was: You're not in the city center you're at a farm!!! I spare you the details of the later on rude communication from his side. His solution was to place the dogs……

“What an incredible place! Situated just beneath the city of Paterno but in the beautiful and quiet country you have an amazing view of the Etna. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean.The food is just delicious (try the pesce spada) and Signora Maria is the kind soul of the place. I will return!”

“The staff is very nice and welcoming. Lovely walk to the beach but also a pool on the property.”

“Wir wurden sehr freundlich von einem Mitarbeiter begrüßt und unser Appartement intensiv vorgestellt. Bei Problemen würde sofort Abhilfe geschaffen. Es gab Gastgeschenke (Wein, Tauben, echt).. der Pool war groß und sauber. Einziger wehrmusterten war das angegebene aber fehlende Restaurant. Und vielleicht sollte man auf der Terrasse aber Stühle verwenden. Diese war bei längerem sitzen doch sehr hat. Alles in allem ein top Urlaubsort. ”

“Tutt'altro rispetto a quanto pubblicizzato. Pulizia carente, privo di qualsiasi accessorio, personale praticamente assente, privo del confort basale. Per non parlare dei letti: materassi su cui è stato praticamente impossibile dormire: le molle si percepivano fino alle ossa!”

"Location is good the breakfast is above the average and the parking is nice. Stop in front of the hotel and they park for you. Garage is 22euro per night. Room is spacious but they didn’t replace the used personal items - tissue paper, conditioner etc. "

"我住的房間樓上早上'中午'甚至晚上整理桌椅'拉扯的聲音不絕於耳'幾乎天天如此! 中午餐廳營業時間12:30不準時'可能跟義大利人浪漫個性有關! 飯店的SHUTTLE BUS服務態度很好'非常準時!只可惜有一天星期天休息沒載客'沒事先在櫃檯佈告通知住宿七晚個晚上'早餐的內容天天一樣"
