“Beautiful house in a quiet area. Luxurious accommodation with incredible facilities and a really beautiful outdoor private pool. The indoor thermal pool was an additional luxury great to cool off after hot days in the sun or to use when the rain came. We didn’t pay to have it heated. The kids loved them both as did we. We even used the indoor gym equipment ! Good way to work off all the lovely food and drink. You do really need a car to get to the local shops, restaurants, and beaches. One……

“Photos are accurate. A comfortable rustic house with a lovely garden and pool that provides a secluded peaceful haven for a relaxing time. Surrounded by orange and olive groves. Nice cantina in local village and other restaurants 20 min drive away. Key tourist sites in the east of the island are 1-2 hrs away. You will return home very rested. A warm welcome from Franco, the owner, and Francesca who is a very attentive guide for the visitor, always available on WhatsApp, and speaks great English.……

“Superb home, very comfortable for my wife and I, our two children (13 & 8), and our Italian friend (55). Geographically great to reach Syracuse, Catania and Taormina. The view of Aetna is spectacular. In the evening we could see the lava! The kitchen had everything needed to prepare our own meals, and a laundry for our clothes. In the morning, we had our coffee watching the sunrise and the fishing boats coming and going. However, it is a little isolated as you will have to drive some distance……

“It is not what is advertised. Not the area you want to be in. Not the property you want to stay at: uncared, weed overgrown yard, inside old, shabby furniture, most primitive everything. Yes there is a roof on the house... We had to stay 1 night because we arrived late, I complained to Fewo right away - they did nothing - and moved out. I asked the owner (on Fewo advice) to reimbourse me some money and got insulted and threatend. Bad experience from beginning to end!”
