“The villa was clan and spacious, and good access to the shops eg Lidl. Cavtat and Dubrovnik are a short taxi journey away (we found Uber better value for money) and the host was attentive but not intrusive and provided information about local places to see when asked. The only observation would be that the pool is probably not suitable for young children as it is too deep but this didn’t effect us sand we enjoyed the stay a lot”

“Fuimos unos días dos familias con niños! Los 3 apartamentos nos resultaron muy cómodos! La piscina y zona de barbacoa por la tarde-noche son perfectas! Josipa nos recomendó varios sitios, restaurantes estupendo y planes con los niños! Lo mejor fue la cueva de Odiseo que está muy cerca y es precioso y el parque de mjlet. La recomendamos! Todo perfecto! ”

“Place needs work with wholes in walls, needs a good cleaning, do not be fooled in the small print it says you have to pay extra for the master bedroom that is located in the annex however, in my booking it said included the annex and the manager asked for an extra $250 cash a night in order to open up the room. We were very disappointed in this property. There are better properties out there for this much money. Love you, however, is very beautiful. What was very disappointing is I couldn’t get……

“The apartment was fabulous! The location was great for our daily adventures. As we were all 70+, the stairs were not desirable, but, the apartment, view and deck at the top made it worth it. Luggage, however, was a whole 'luther issue!”

“There was a group of young adults traveling for our post wedding trip (25-30 ages). When we first checked in they were very kind and generous. Baked us a sweet treat and shared some local wine. The house is nice since all of the rooms have bathrooms attached. But some of the rooms are very small. Maybe better for kids and not adults. We didn’t hang out at the house much so we made it work. “We had an amazing visit at Villa Lu! Everyone in the family had their own space, the grocery store and coffee shops were nearby. The location is perfect for day trips into the Old Town and up north in Ston to visit wineries, salt and oyster farms. There's something so peaceful about Villa Lu. The full moon view from the house is spectacular and Mara was an excellent host. Love to go back again!!”

“Lovely villa split into 2 apartments which suited our family of 5 adults perfectly and provided plenty of space. Fantastic location to explore Dubrovnik and surrounding area or just chill by pool with amazing views or wander down to the beach which is 10 min walk down hill - water taxis and buses from Mlini are frequent so no need to hire a car . It was very hot during our stay so we used Uber frequently to get back to villa as quite a steep walk. Really responsive and helpful host and the……
