“The Stratford is very reasonably priced and in easy walking distance to town and the theaters. We have stayed here while attending OSF many times starting in 1986. We appreciate having a small fridge and microwave in the room, plus Safeway right across the street. It is an older property but generally in good condition. ”

“We received the check-in email witch gave excellent directions to where to park, the property was in a quiet neighborhood close to Shakespeare Festival. The property itself was just what we needed. It was within walking distance of downtown, but the people I traveled with felt it was too far to walk (they aren't used to being at altitude.) ”

“A short walk to OSF plays, Ashland's wonderful walkable downtown shops, and the trails along Lithia Springs. This facility is perfect, sunny, bright and our hosts were ever attentive to any needs. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.”

“We enjoyed being able to leave our oets indoors when we ventured out in the heat of the day. We could walk to the center if town within 15 minutes. Grocery store around the corner. The kitchen has a good selection of pans, but no toaster and “oil” is in spray form. Not the best kitchen, but adequate.”
