“We had such an amazing time at Kim’s cabin! The location was perfect—close enough to explore sites on the Keeweenaw Peninsula, and Kim shared some great locations to see, which made our trip even more memorable. One of the biggest highlights for us was being able to bring our two dogs—our big 80-pound pup and our little beagle. They absolutely loved the fenced-in area to play, and Kim even went out of her way to bring over treats and a ball for them. That thoughtful touch meant so much.The……

Loons, Eagles, Merganser ducks, geese, Nuthatches, Flickers, foggy mornings, colorful sunsets and the ever changing water of the lake make for a nature lover’s paradise. Bring your groceries for meals and stay in, you won’t want to leave. We’ll be back! ”

“Roose's Roost was the perfect home base for our UP adventures! The house was immaculately clean, well maintained, and outfitted with all of the items to make it feel like home. The deck was amazing- we enjoyed the swinging chair and the gas firepit especially. The lake was beautiful and deep enough to jump off the end of the dock. Our hosts were very helpful and easy to get in touch with. If we ever travel back to the UP, we would definitely book Roose's Roost again! ”
