“First time staying here for one night, check in was friendly and helpful. Room was a little dated but nice and clean also WiFi was good. Didn’t try the main restaurant in the evening but did have breakfast in morning of which was continental and it was good and staff were nice and pleasant. I would personally stay again ”

“The 1st room we were given had a kettel with limescale in it and a bath with the enamel worn and black marks also purple marks on bath from some product that had been used previously we complained and were given another room.The 2nd room was on the 1st floor but there is no lift available as it is not being used anymore so anyone with mobility issues like my wife it will cause issues ! However there are some ground floor accessible rooms available. The radiator in our 2nd room wasn't working on……

“Very friendly welcome and a lovely, clean and very spacious room, the bathroom looked a little tired and if I was any taller than the 6’1 it would have been a real struggle to wash in the shower as there’s quite a low ceiling. Really comfy bed, only other criticism would be the position of the TV which was on a wall to the side of the bed and didn’t have a bracket so that you could turn it ”

“A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My husband is a severe asthmatic and is allergic to feathers. When we realised that the pillows and duvet were feather and spoke to the housekeeping staff, they went out of their way to help us. They changed all the bedding and ensured that there were no feathers in the room. Special thanks should go to Suzanne and the blond lady who organised this for us. “We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too.
