“The staff who were on rota are lacking in customer service skills. Room had no body wash or other hygiene products other than hand soap. For a 4 star hotel, this is pretty poor. The food was lovely, but no condiments were delivered to the room. Blood stained carpets & ill fitting matress protectors, are also not conducive to 4 star hotels.”

“Stayed here for a couple of nights for a wedding nearby. Staff very helpful and friendly. Had a very tasty meal on Friday night. Good choice at breakfast. Hotel feels quite tired and in great need of renovation. No blackout curtains in our room, and quite a lot of road noise (which can’t be avoided), so I’d suggest taking ear plugs. Otherwise handy for Hamilton and surrounding area. Good parking on site.”

“This hotel can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. It has lovely views if you get a room at the front. The food is great, in particular breakfast which I can never finish (when it's table service). The staff are all lovely, parking is easy, and the rooms are comfortable. I really like staying here and will go out of my way to stay.”

“The staff at reception was wonderful! We showed up later in the day than we anticipated so the kitchen was closed but Caroline suggested ordering Just Eat to deliver food. The beds were comfortable and the water nice and hot. We only stayed one night but would love to come back for another stay!”
