“We throughly enjoyed our stay & Vana was an excellent host providing hiking and birding locations to explore. It is not often a cottage in the woods is so close to town that we were able to walk to restaurants and the Tryon Arts Center to see a show. We plan to be back. ”

“ It was comfortable and felt very homey. It is an older house however the property was in great condition and it had all the needed items for a weekend Stay. Plenty of towels and washcloths in the bathroom. Nice yard that's fenced along with a great back porch thats screened in so very pleasant to sit outside.”

“My 2 daughters-in-law and I used to travel to the mountains with my sweet mother-in-law. She has aged with dementia and we haven’t had a girls trip to the mountains in 5 years. I wanted to rekindle our Nail Girl’s Trip and revive the yearly mountain trip! I found Sunset Cottage on Best Life Dr. in Brevard, and it was the perfect place for us! We had a wonderful, relaxing time shopping in Brevard and visiting at the cottage! Carol’s place was sooo clean and inviting! It was short…but so sweet to……

“We loved staying here! Being close to town was perfect, and we had plenty of room for everyone. The fire pit area is nice, and in warmer weather it would be a nice spot to have lunch or dinner on the picnic table. Just be warned, the hill leading up to town is no joke! We absolutely would stay here again!”
