“The room was clean. The staff were always available and efficiently helpful and pleasant. Breakfast included the typical wafflemaker and breads as well as apples and peanut butter for us gluten free individuals. It was budget friendly so I did not expect a full hot breakfast buffet. even without that it was very good. It was quiet despite being in the middle of the city and there was a Wendys a subway and an Arbys very close (less than 5 minutes walk or drive). I would definitely stay here again……

“Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Wheeling at the Highlands is a great place to stay. Very clean property, friendly and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and was fully equipped to meet our needs. Whenever we're in town, Hawthorn Suites at Wheeling, will definitely be our preferred choice.”

“Pillows weren't great, but that's my only complaint with the room. Sign said "Pool is now open", but someone forgot to put water in it...heh, heh. But a great little hotel overall! I don't expect a place this cheap to have a breakfast, and there's was small, but alright. Cereal, toast, waffle makers, juice, milk, maybe a couple other things. Comfortable, clean, cheap...nice!”

“Customer service was excellent. Room was nice, and clean for the most part. Older and in need of some updating and a deep clean, but very reasonably priced.”

“Water pressure was a little low (low flow shower head), but a good hotel overall. Breakfast choices were limited and a little odd. Bring me a good biscuit and sausage gravy, or some bacon or sausage, but not a chicken tender, for breakfast.”
