“We spent a long weekend at Saratoga Lodge in early April 2025. We loved the house and the gorgeous view, the fenced back yard (great for our dog), and the ultimate quiet. The noisiest thing was the furnace, but it worked great, so no complaining. We didn't cook much, but the smallish kitchen seemed well appointed. Kudos for having a knife sharpener. So often rental homes have all dull knives. A couple tips for renters: 1) It's preferred you leave shoes just inside the door, so bring slippers.……

“This property was amazing, more then we could have asked for the surrounding views for the front and back yards were spectacular and on top of that we got to watch the sunset while hanging out in the hot tub. Beautiful wood cabin, and great communication with the owner as he stopped in to make sure all was going well and check in. Overall a wonderful stay and if we are back out this way, we will for sure book again if available.”

“Gorgeous home at equally gorgeous location. I booked this location due to its elements remincent of beloved family vacations in the mountains and on a lake in New Hampshire. Our stress of the trip across the country immediately dissipated as soon as we turned onto the road leading to the property. And the property, WOW. “Enjoyed this cabin for a quiet little getaway with my husband. Although you aren't completely secluded from neighbors it still felt very private, and all the details were well-explained and exactly as advertised. One thing to keep in mind about the location is that it is pretty far from a real grocery store. This isn't a problem at all, just requires more planning ahead.”

“The Gnome cabin is very nice. Comfortable couch to relax on, nice kitchen and dining table, large bathroom with a washer and dryer and two good size bedrooms. A large deck and cute yard. The beds are memory foam which some people may find uncomfortable. I would recommend a non- skid pad for the shower floor as the soft water makes it slippery. We would recommend the Gnome cabin for a visit to the island. ”
