“Not a new cookie cutter hotel, but an authentic carefully managed property with a personal touch. We especially enjoyed the comfort of the lobby where you can use your hotel room card to purchase a glass of wine or a 2 oz shot of booze. The name may be nordic, but I would call it Bavarian. The door in the bathroom was solid wood and the ceiling was wood. The breakfast room was thoughfully organized and the free breakfast was about as good as you can get without a cook. We live in Colorado……

“The unit was in a great location with direct clip and ski out access onto the Fanny Hill Aspen Snowmass trail in less than 300 feet from the front door. Kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils and pots/pans that you could need and everything was pretty clean. Unit is on the smaller side, but accurate to the pictures. Not having an electric fireplace is a bit of a downside as it makes drying out snow gear between days a bit harder, but the main office does sell firewood. I would……

“Overall a great experience. We loved the car service timberline provides and was able to utilize this quite a bit as the property is further from the base village and even the mall area than we thought when we looked online. The condo works well for small families. We were disappointed to not find a washer/dryer in the unit - instead you have to take you stuff out in the cold to a laundry facility and get change, etc. This is the same trek you must take to go to the pool- which is a very cold……

“Great location for ski-in ski-out. The restaurant, pool and hot tub, front desk, and driving services were excellent. The unit was small, but that was expected given the description in the listing. The only negative we experienced was the sleeper sofa. It was broken, would collapse into the couch when being used, and would not fold back into the couch during the day. The staff indicated replacement was needed, but that obviously wouldn't happen while we were there. Overall, the property……
