“We were a group of 7 staying (4 adults, 3 children) for 3 nights. The cottage had everything we could need. There are 2 bedrooms perfectly set up for kids with the other 2 for adults. The bathrooms were decent and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more, although some cupboard space to store our food would have been nice.The outdoor dining space was very peaceful and pretty although a little overlooked. The estate is beautiful and the cottage is very close to the activity……

“We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. “The apartment was very central and was well designed and clean . The bed was very comfortable. We had a small outside space which could do with some attention but a nice touch as the room was rather warm. Our room was on the 2nd floor and accessed by stairs. Communication prior to our visit was clear and helpful. We enjoy the freedom of self catering and the apartment was well equipped. We met the man in reception as we left and he was friendly but otherwise we did not need any assistance……

“Brilliant, I did leave a review on Google maps also. But I really enjoyed this stay. Me (m19) and my partner (F18) decided to go on a whim and book somewhere nice on Saturday night. It was a nice idea as we got out of her parents house. We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was clean with a nice bathroom, kitchen, living area and bedroom. We cooked ourselves a meal and had a nice bath before heading out. It's literally on the doorstep of town so everything you need is within walking……

“Well cottage is delightful and has the benefit of off-street parking - very important in Bourton. It is in a perfect location, being very close to the centre of the village but in a quiet road.The property was spotlessly clean, well-equipped and as such had everything I needed for a relaxing break.The owner is very hands on and nothing was too much trouble. I enjoyed the fruit, cheese and biscuits that were provided!I would definitely recommend this property.”

“We enjoyed our stay and experiencing true Cotswold living! The cottage is comfortable with deep history. The garden was lovely. It was early spring, so lots of flowers in bloom. The stairway inside is a little narrow (watch your head going up to the third floor!) but the rooms were comfortable and clean. The host, Mark, provides a ton of information about the area and places to see. All around, it was a great place!”
