“We had a wonderful stay in Bar Harbor! This rental home was very beautiful and had everything you could want or need. It is within walking distance to the shops, coffee, the waterfront and the grocery store. If it wasn’t for a few rainy, cold days, we probably would have walked everywhere! Absolutely loved it here! ”

“ We absolutely loved our time at Escape lake house in Maine! The setting was gorgeous and cannot be beat. The view is never the same and we loved watching the changing light on the water. The house is as described in the listing and the primary bedroom and bathroom are great. Note that one of the “bathrooms” is actually in a side entry room with the washer/dryer and extra stove, and is not super private. Also, 2 of the showers are very small stand-up showers. But, that said, for just 2 of us,……

“We stayed 4 nights at this awesome home with convenient access to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Plenty of room and very quiet location. The kitchen was very well appointed with modern cookware and plenty of dishes, etc. The bedrooms were quiet and very comfortable. Bonus; we has an awesome viewing of the Northern Lights! The property manager was very responsive to questions as well. I would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!”

“We returned to driftwood cottage after falling in love with the property two years ago, and this time we had one more child and one more dog than our last visit! Once again, this incredible property did not disappoint. Our kids loved the bunk beds, the swing set, and the children’s books, and my wife and I appreciated the laundry machines, the spacious deck, and the quiet setting. Our hosts were, as always, prompt and helpful when we needed assistance. They even shared some clutch suggestions……

“Enjoyed our stay, used the fire pit and back deck a good bit. A lil drive to everything which we knew before arriving. There was a little road noise during the day but zero issue at night. Had fun with the chickens that came to visit :)”

“The house was perfect for 5 adults and a quick walk to downtown Bar Harbor. Shaun was extremely accommodating when we had to modify our stay and was very responsive. House is very well equipped for cooking and spending quality time together. I would definitely return. We were also welcomed with a delicious homemade blueberry pie and were pleasantly surprised to find.an opened coffee in the cupboard as well. Would highly recommend ”
