“We just returned from our trip. First the location was excellent. The property is very picturesque and really afford the visitor great places to walk and truly see the coast of Maine. The host did a really good job in communicating with us and was respectful of our privacy. Concerning the condition and the amenities of the property…This home is a two family, which is fine however there were many things missing that were really would’ve been nice to have. “The farmhouse was a lovely place to stay while exploring Acadia National Park! The house was extremely clean, had all of the supplies we needed, was very well-maintained, and was located very close to the park and all of the local towns. We loved the property - the backyard is nice and offers a great view of the stars at night, and the house is very comfortable. “The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia.”
