“Started with a thoughtful call from Jim who runs the place, during the late afternoon explaining our food options locally. Very considerate based on the dining options around here being limited after 7pm. The place is amazing. Rooms are incredible. We took the row boat and kayak out on the lake and then made a fire in the pit. Jim brought out some premade s’mores packs with sticks. Just an amazing and outstanding place. Would highly recommend staying here. ”

“The Sunshine Shack is conveniently located near downtown Newberry. The house is very cozy and my kids loved the basement area with pool table and games. We had an issue with the refrigerator while there and the owners responded quickly and remedied the situation as fast and well as they could. They were very friendly. We loved the binder of restaurant and activity suggestions (Pizza Place was excellent, we also loved the ice cream at the raccoon store!) Huge empty garage if you need it and a big……

“This cabin has a lot of character and charm. I loved it because it reminded me of going to deer camp with my Dad when I was younger. If you have nostalgia for rustic living in the woods and the smell of a wood stove, this cabin is an absolute nostalgia-filled joy to stay in. It's a great place to relive those youthful memories, even though it's not the same cabin I stayed in as a kid. Great place to play board games, cook over an open flame, sit outside and star gaze, enjoy the bird song of……
