“We had a lovely stay at this charming vintage farmhouse located close to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and Northeast Harbor. The location was ideal for exploring the area, and the peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing home base.The home was clean overall, and the kitchen was well-equipped with appliances, making meal prep easy. “This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. ”

“This is a wonderful (old) house with lots of space. The bedrooms are nicely separate, making it perfect for any group of people that would like some level of privacy. The outdoor fire pit is especially nice. It is 25-30 minute distance from Acadia and Bar Harbor, which we did not find an obstacle. It has a large dinging room table perfect for dinner and games. The kitchen is well furnished. Really perfect for a family visit to Acadia. ”
