“I really enjoyed my stay at Riverside Hotel. There was plenty of space available in their free carpark. As there is no Reception on site I received the check-in code exactly as explained on my phone. The process at the hotel to collect my key worked without a problem. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, had a very comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the en-suite. I had a comfortable night's sleep. ”

“I like the location being not right in a town but a short distance of drive from places such as Bibury and Cirencester. The room is on the small side but sufficient for our purpose. The inn faces an open ground with tables for drinkers and a creek which gave a good mix of environment. The rate was super reasonable which made me initially thought that breakfast was not included and turned out to be inclusive. We ate dinner one night and the food was incredible. “Room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour. We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins. We used the spa facilities, and these are always great. The room was comfy and just as we would expect. It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again. ”

“My wife and I spent a night at the Priory on the back of a visit to Highgrove ( 10 minutes away). We are very happy with our choice. Staff excellent, great location for mooching round town ( plus eating and drinking if not at hotel). Thanks to all ”
