“We have been staying in the area at different cabins throughout the years and this was one of our better stays. The property was very well kept and the cabin was as listed. Even with us loosing power during a thunderstorm one evening we still had an entertaining time. We will for sure book again. ”

“The Carpenters cabin provided everything we needed, and more, to slow down and spend quality time as a family! Our 13 year old (m) loved spending time outdoors exploring, while our 8 year old (f) enjoyed the coziness of the book loft!! During our short stay I most enjoyed the hammock chairs in the screened in porch on the 3rd floor, where I spent hours reading!!Scott & Jami were communicative before and during our stay, making for a stressfree experience! My families visit here fostered……

“It was a fantastic place! Inside was very well kept and had plenty of space for the 6 of us that went. The view outside was down right jaw dropping. Brandon is honestly the bes, he messaged me a few times ask if we need anything from town and got us what we needed. The only thing i was disappointed about was the hot tub. It wasnt in the greatest shape and couldnt keep temp so never used it. Very minor compared to the rest of our stay. Well worth the stay. Highly recommend. ”

“My husband and i stayed at the Acorn for 3 days, 2 nights. GPS gives you the wrong coordinates so it took us awhile to find it. The house itself is very cozy and relaxing. I was not fully aware of how close the other house was to ours. To use the hot tub you have to go outside and around to the back bottom porch and there's only one "privacy" wall where you can see through the boards and your neighbors can see you. Besides that, everything else was amazing and perfect for the two of us!”

“Everything was as advertised. The property was super clean, the kitchen was well stocked including new pots/pans, etc. The bed was comfortable and the linens and towels were new and clean, but you may want to bring your pillows from home. The hot tub was amazing and made for a relaxing evening! Overall, a fabulous few days away from it all. Be careful on the backroads though!”

“I stayed at this cabin with 11 friends to celebrate my parter’s 30th birthday and it was an absolute blast! The location is just remote enough to feel like you’re really out in the woods but not too far that it takes forever to find. The layout of the cabin was perfect for hosting a birthday celebration, everyone could hang out on the porch and in the hot tub or in the kitchen and really feel like we were all together. There were enough beds for everyone and they were all so comfy! We forgot a……
