“We really enjoyed our stay! The house was really spacious and it was especially nice to have 4 bathrooms. Everything was very clean. We loved having the fully stocked kitchen, the grill, and games available. The host was very responsive and the location was perfect - just a short drive to downtown. “What a terrific property! The spacious house easily accommodated ten adults (we brought a blow-up mattress to have enough beds in the lower level). Nestled in the woods with a large yard and a big fire-pit, the home had that up-north feel. Elk Lake was about a half-mile walk. We loved the location--an easy drive to Elk Rapids (loved Veteran's Memorial Beach), Torch Lake, Traverse City, and all the wineries and beaches on Old Mission Peninsula. The host was easy to reach and check-in/check-out……

“First of all, our host, Christine, was amazing--always responsive, accommodating, and pleasant. The property could not have been more perfect for our extended family group. The house is lovely, spacious, with so many amenities. The pool was fabulous. The private beach has kayaks and all kinds of fun things for the kids to play with. Easy transportation around the property with two golf carts. We will be back!”

“The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owner was friendly and responded to my questions. Since the owner lives upstairs, check-in was super easy. The house is located in a subdivision away from town, and you'll drive on a short section of gravel road as you arrive. As others have said, the unit could use better sound insulation. The owner has dogs (friendly, but occasionally vocal).The location worked great for us, and we may be back again next year.”
