“Very nice setup. Terrific view of the lake. The host is very accommodating with good attention to detail. ”

“House is great, plenty of room, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. Its about 30 minutes from baylor so need to consider the drive. The town of McGregor is ghost town, basically deserted.”

“The house was great, beds were comfortable and view of lake and sunset were amazing. House has all the comforts of home except a broom. Neighborhood is sketchy and will make you question staying but overall it was very nice! Back porch is perfect for morning coffee or a relaxing evening! Perfect for a family. Driveway is a little tight if you have a boat but not bad. Overall the host is amazing and communication is top notch! ”

“Where do I begin? The owner is clearly a person after my own heart! All the living necessities are provided and they’re clean and look new as if they were selected just for your arrival. The interior design is gorgeous giving extra attention to the small details that make this place unique. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, and the showers are better than a five-star resort. “I am from a small town but large family and the phrase Mama's House is the best was to say what this home was. It is adorable,with a large kitchen, bedroom, and master bath.. Being able to see 3 doe and 2 bucks eating only a 5 feet from where I had my coffee was the best added bonus. This is a nature lovers paradise for sure. ”

“My husband and I stayed for a quick work trip. The home is older, but well cared for. There were fans and a solid AC - which fended off the even-hot-for-TX May temps. There were even ice cubes and chilled/filtered water in the fridge when we arrived. A coffee-shop and grocery store are very close by. And it worked great for us as our project destination was only minutes away.”
