“Everything about this house is awesome. Bedrooms and main area are spacious and comfy. Modern kitchen and bathrooms. Neighborhood is very quiet. Plenty of room for parking cars and boat trailer. The covered pier was so convenient. Nicest, most attentive host we’ve had yet. Sitting on the back covered porch and seeing nothing but lake and trees was so relaxing. All in all is a great place to stay when visiting Toledo Bend.”

“the place was so clean, tons of different areas to hangout with the friend group. A lot of complimentary things to make the stay more enjoyable, like hot cocoa, coffee, the canoe by the lake and the pancake mix in the fridge!! “The outside property has been neglected. It needs to be cleaned and repaired. We had to clean the chairs before we could sit in them. A lot of junk under the house and standing water which makes mosquitoes. Lots of room for improvement. The inside of the house was great. Very clean and had everything we needed. ”

“This place is a hidden Gem! We enjoyed our stay so much! Definitely a return trip is in our future! Host is great and told us of many opportunities around the area. The view from the porch is amazing! Wildlife is everywhere! The property is hidden in between wooded areas that help to isolate it and make it all the more beautiful! “Everything was really great! My family and I enjoyed every minute of our trip. We spent Easter weekend and had so many fun places to hide Easter eggs. My husband and son caught a few small bass off the dock (which of course they threw back), but it’s always fun to catch. Everything was exactly as described in the listing plus extras. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed playing poker for fun with the nice set of poker chips.I definitely recommend this cabin and can’t wait for our next trip!”

We spent 3 days lounging, enjoying the scenery, reading the owner's curated collection of magazines, and cooking in the lovely kitchen. “The cabin was adequate. Relatively clean except for the windows which were disgustingly dirty and barely see thru.The trash clause is silly. Note that the dump site is closed on Wednesdays (best to check the hours beforehand). There were plenty of consumable supplies in the cabin (trash bags, toilet paper, cups, soap, etc.) and bedding.There's plenty of deck space and the sunset is awesome. As expected, the mosquitoes are ferocious. The location is remote so plan you food supply accordingly.”
