“I'm a pretty patient and tolerant person and usually a big fan of the Fairmont, but this was probably the most disappointing stay I've ever experienced. The room we got looked nothing like the room I thought I booked online. It was clean but definitely needed an update. Ok so the hotel isn't fully renovated. I get it. I also get that the service might be a little slow since it's offseason, but I didn't expect to wait an hour from the time we put in a lunch order to the time it got delivered……

“We had a fantastic three day weekend on the island. The beds were super comfortable and plenty of space.We took cabs and also utilized the bus system. Super easy to get around the island.There are several restaurants that you can walk to. Our favorite was the Gulfstream. Try their delicious thin crust pizza and sushi. It’s right by horseshoe Beach, which is stunning. Definitely make a stop at horseshoe beach in the early evening when the cruise ship guests are not there. It’s very……

“We spent a week at the 'Deck House'. It was a wonderful place to stay and the location was awesome. Lorna was very friendly, helpful and provided us with many suggestions on things to do and places to go. The views from the upper deck were amazing and we enjoyed many meals outside looking at the views and listening to the ocean. I would definitely recommend this apartment.”
