“We are absolutely coming back again! This "unplugged" anniversary trip with our 2 huge dogs was WONDERFUL! Everything you could possibly need was already there, (and of course I overpacked). I loved all the quaint personal touches located all over the cabin. I really felt like we were sleeping in the woods, because we WERE. I would recommend this 100% to anyone wanting to have the most memorable camping experience ever!”

“The cabin was great! The kids loved the bathtub with jets. It was perfectly located between our Johnston Shut ins and Elephant Rock adventures. The lake was not as accessible for swimming due to natural moss build up but we were able to go fishing. We will definitely return! ”

“There really isn't anything negative to say about this cabin. If I had to pick a negative, I wish it were closer to water but it is still only a 15 min drive from water. I could go on and on about the positives of this cabin! First off, it is bigger than the pictures show. I'm not saying it is huge but we were pleasantly surprised at the size. “This was one of the best places I have stayed! We needed to get in a little early to put stuff in the fridge as we were floating that morning and was accommodated. The owner did come and make sure everything was good and asked if we needed anything else. The cabin itself was great! The kitchen was well stocked on anything that you may need and the dining, kitchen, living room area were great! If I had to change anything it would be a/c for the bedrooms. “overall we had a great stay. everything was as expected. Justin was great to communicate with. The mattress on the murphy pull out bed on the wall was pretty stained so we did not feel comfortable using it. We brought a blow up air mattress so that saved us. They did have a blow up mattress there but it wouldn't hold air. we would go back if we planed another float trip to the black river. ”

“Had a hard time finding, because I forgot to read your instructions. Oops! But found it and was easy to get in. The trains in the evening where intersting to watch do maintenance. “We stay here a couple times a year. In the summer to float the river and in the winter to be near relatives for the holidays. Great experience in both seasons. Very close to the river, gas, and grocery. ”

“I have been coming to Van Buren since I was 7 years old(now63). Have always camped, but this year I changed it up, these cabins have everything you need. Location, close to everything Current River related (especially Jolly Cone)! Comfortable, private, fire pit, grill, wi-fi, and excellent climate controlled cabins, (Eskimo’s in the group). Plan on staying here again soon!”
