“Cabin was great - in good condition, clean and everything worked. Didn't try hot tub so couldn't tell if that was good or not. Beds were comfy and A/C worked well. One compliant - the location of the cabin is where the fire happened so when you look at the picture of the cabin online and see all the beautiful trees that is not what you see when you get to the cabin. All the trees are burnt all the way up the hillside on all sides. So it is very sparse and barren looking. Having said that,……

“This cabin was super cute and even though it was not exactly far from the neighbors, it seemed surprisingly secluded. We spent most of our trip outside at the patio table, the hot tub, or up at the pergola. The ONLY thing I'd be aware of is the steps to and from the hot tub. There's zero light after dark by the hot tub area and both me & my friend fell there and stubbed toes more than once. So you might want to bring a lantern or solar light out there when you are heading to the hot tub after……

“We enjoyed our stay, the cabin worked well for our group and was a central point for visits to Lincoln Forest hiking trails, White Sands, Valley of Fires, and the Space Museum in Alamogordo. Kitchen had all we needed to make most of our meals. The front porch was great in the mornings and the hummingbird traffic was crazy busy. Grandkids were delighted to see wild horses and elk in the neighborhood. My granddaughter tells me to include her review - she loved it! ”
