“Staff was very hospitable and the surroundings were serene. However the location is slightly far away from the town centre. Without any transport, at least 30 minutes of walk is needed to get to the town centre”

“Very pleasant stay with the Vault. The only thing is that there is a construction beside the Vault. It might be a little bit noisy during day time from Monday to Friday.”

“This is a lovely property. The beds were comfortable, and the living area/kitchen were spacious. Having two bathrooms (one full, one half) was extremely convenient. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the temperature in the lodge was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Basecamp is a stunning property and gives the authentic feel of a base camp ie no tv, phones, or wardrobes in bedrooms. The breakfast had great variety and eggs Benedict was a popular request. The only downside for me as a sole traveller in a triple room was that I had to pay the full price. There are no facilities such as a sauna or pool - but this is the high Arctic so I'm not sure if any accommodation has these facilities! Staff were wonderful - friendly and super helpful. ”
