“It was a pleasure staying at this beautiful place. We don’t have any complaints at all. No need to go out at all. It was peaceful,we enjoyed every second here. The Sound of the birds,the river,turkeys,bunnies,quails. Such a beautiful views to say the truth I didn’t wanted to leave. Thank you Steve for sharing this beautiful place with my family and I!”

“I had to get out the city and wanted to explore Sequoia National Park without having to stay in some touristy hotel. This house was better than perfect. It was the right amount of secluded while also be close to restaurants and shops — and right next to Sequoia. Spending the day at the park, surrounded by tourists made coming back to this property to relax on the riverbank in seclusion and peace almost made the house itself the primary attraction of this trip. 11/10, would book again. ”

“I recently stayed here with my husband, 5-year-old, and our 5-month baby. This house exceeded my expectations! It was spectacularly clean. But my favorite part was the incredible views - visible from the dining table, kitchen, upstairs loft, and deck. No limits on the view possibilities! Views all around. Views of snowcapped mountains while hearing the river flowing was peak relaxation. While you cannot see the river from the house, I don't think you'll mind with the beautiful views. The house……

“We enjoyed our stay at John’s Place. Perfect location for our trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Very large house with a well equipped kitchen. Beautiful setting with views of the mountains. Multiple large decks. The town of Three Rivers has several very good restaurants and a small grocery store. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again.”

“After the fires in Los Angeles we wanted a relaxing weekend alone in the mountains with fresh air. We got exactly that. The drive up was beautiful, check in couldn’t have been more clear, the property is beautiful, and kitchen is fully stocked. My husband and I relaxed in the backyard with our babies and watched the sunset, grilled dinner each night and enjoyed the string patio lights that gave it so much charm. The wild turkeys and quail are fun to watch (although our dog thought otherwise……

“Hidden Gem! Very welcoming! Lovely property with plenty of art around to enjoy. Greeted by their dogs as well. Loved listening to the river, also we had our own view of the river too! They provided us with basic cooking tools, soap, dvds, and games. They have an upper deck with beautiful lights and great sound system all you need to do is ask. We enjoyed listening to music with the owners. Lovely people who just their guest to enjoy their time! Even our cat loved the area! She didn’t want to……
