“400 year old building the room was very nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. The floors and stairs are a bit noisy (creaky) but it’s obviously going to be given the age of the building it’s quite stunning also has a nice courtyard and a safe carpark round the back. Overall fantastic weekend stay wouldn’t mind doing it again ”

“Amazing place, stayed here many times before. welcoming vibe, lovely breakfast. I arrived late at night, owner was there to greet me, offered me a beer after my long drive. (perfect) Room was amazing, nice little upgrade. massive bed, plenty of space to work (desk area). full selection of tea & coffee, and some nice biscuits. iron & ironing board in the room. everything i need was there for me. I personally judge hotels, by the shower.... and WOW amazing shower, with the best smelling shower……

“Immediate impression was a beautiful pub, gorgeous outdoor seating and when walking into the bar/reception it was very clean. Super friendly and helpful staff too. Parking was a short 3 min walk from the pub with 24hr parking available. Room was spacious and clean, although there was what looked like a blood stain on the opening of my pillowcase. Bed was a bit soft for my liking but that’s ok. Room is seperate from the pub so you don’t get noise from that, however the windows don’t block out……

“Magnificent! A really great outing for the senses: comfortable, beautiful presented old school house with an antique shop in the playground, good parking, superb village location, convenient for the whole of west Norfolk and close enough to major routes for the rest of the county / region. Bridget and Andrew are excellent hosts, the breakfast was wonderful, wi-fi strong, and decoration throughout is marvellous. Very good value stay - top quality shower!! As ever, my best recommendation would be……

“Stayed for two nights as attending a function locally. Accommodation perfect for us. Well appointed studio with en-suite shower/wc. Very clean and nicely furnished. Own entrance to rear of pub. Street parking plentiful and free. Pub restaurant had tasteful decor, friendly staff and good food. This would make an ideal base for touring south Lincolnshire or north west Norfolk. ”

“Brilliant staff, clean room and comfortable bed. Plumbing, namely water draining away shower/sink, was a little slow, which could cause the shower tray to flood into the bathroom. More an issue in the morning, possibly due to system capacity. Wedding party was a little noisy on one night, but to be expected.”

“Unfortunately as we had travelled by train we were limited to using the buses to get into King's Lynn which was quite a good service but was a long 20/25 minutes walk to the bus stop from the hotel. Everything about the hotel was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff and very clean throughout. Delicious food ”
