“Host booked the wrong date at the resort and was totally unresponsive when we contacted him about the issue. Left us stranded at the airport in St Thomas. We had to pay 1900 to get a room for one night. Still have not heard from the host with an explanation or apology.”

“The room was dark and depressing and the second bedroom looked like a low rent apartment in Los Angeles. There was one, unremarkable restaurant at the hotel and no room service. Breakfast entailed walking across the property to a deli/mini mart that was akin to airport food (mostly grab and go). Tons of staff driving empty shuttles around, but no room service and minimal housekeeping? Housekeeping only comes every other day and, so, technically, only came once during our 5 day stay and didn't……

“Great value and service from host Vacation Candy. Most of the employees were very gracious, especially our man Neil who was always on the spot when we needed him. The couple who were'nt so great were really rude and aggressive, one security gate woman and a really rude golf cart driver who seemed to try and throw us out of the golf cart! Our unit was very nice except when the rain came in and flooded the primary closet in the bedroom, but on the bright side the maintenance men were delightful.……

“Beautiful villa, amazing location. The only hiccup was the Westin check in.....we received "welcome" info. 3 days later and also had trouble getting bathroom supplies filled (shampoo, conditioner, shower gels were empty). Staff replaced a missing coffee pot right away. Communication with owner was excellent and VRBO booking was efficient and went smoothly. We would most definitely rent from this owner again.”
