“Great location for peace and quiet. Wish there was at least some night life activities. Overall, resort was in pretty great shape on the beach. Definitely, will have to take a taxi to go outside the resort but only about 15-20 minute ride for $15 per couple. ”

“Beautiful views of salt pond bay from cabana. Be prepared for lots of stairs, it felt like about 200 to the restaurant from our upper cabin. The bay is walkable from the cabins but again all of the stairs plus a hike through the woods. It is very rustic here so be prepared for camping. Our cabin was open to the back deck and only had a mosquito nest pinned down to keep bugs out. We also slept with the netting over the bed. We traveled in late April and days were already hot ( upper 80’s) but……

“This was my first time on the property and I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the resort property is. The local fauna is amazing. There are coconut trees and banana trees scattered all over the property. Very well manicured. The pool was warm even at 7:00am. I enjoyed the amenities- the restaurant, the golf cart service, the DYI grill station. Everything was in proper working order and easy to access.”

We loved the location and preferred the residence side to the hotel side personally, but it was nice to have the option of going to the hotel as well. “The room was dark and depressing and the second bedroom looked like a low rent apartment in Los Angeles. There was one, unremarkable restaurant at the hotel and no room service. Breakfast entailed walking across the property to a deli/mini mart that was akin to airport food (mostly grab and go). Tons of staff driving empty shuttles around, but no room service and minimal housekeeping? Housekeeping only comes every other day and, so, technically, only came once during our 5 day stay and didn't……

“We had a wonderful stay at the Elysian. We were there for 3 nights. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Our unit was very nice, although we were given an adjoining room and the people next to us were very loud. That was really our only complaint about the room. The beach is beautiful and we had breakfast and lunch at one of their on site restaurants called Sangria’s. We wanted to have dessert and coffee at their other restaurant The Caribbean Fish Market, but when we went there the……
