“I would rate this hotel 5/10 stars. When we got to the room there was a dip spit cup on our air vent which was immediately a turn off. Additionally the sheets were dirty so we took them off the bed and whenever I took a shower the bathroom floor flooded which had to be mopped up before it ran into the room. Other than those incidents the hotel was beautiful, located in a great area and had a beautiful view. There are just some things I think that could be improved on if I were to consider……

“Unfortunately I stayed at the Royal Sonesta for only one night -- and it was the night a tornado hit very close by (as in across the street). Given that there was a major weather emergency for St Louis to dig out of the Royal Sonesta was AMAZING. All of the restaurants were open and busy, the staff as 100% perfect, there was a huge prom going on in one of the function rooms, and my room was beautiful and quiet when I was ready to sleep. “My only complaint is that I had only one bottle of water in my room and there was no refill the next day”
