“The cottage was conveniently located and as advertised. Only 1 lamp was suitable for reading. I had reserved the cottage for 4 weeks. Unfortunately, I contracted covid and a winter storm warning was issued. At that point I opted to leave after 16 days and drive home. It did in fact snow and people were forced to stay in their homes for 2-3 days. I realize host/owners are not responsible for weather nor are they required to reimburse guests for unused days. I did ask if I could be comped 2-3……

“The good: Perfect spot for exploring historic Charleston. Very cozy and very historic cottage. Clean. Cool MCM kitchenette. Comfy bed. Cute old shower. Not so good: Street parking resulted in parking up to 3 blocks away, several times. Stairs were tight. This is definitely not a place for someone who cannot walk alot or climb a ladder-like stairway. Wifi was completely unreliable. Couldn't use the gas fireplace because it seemed to be leaking and caused a concerning smell. Person who "checked……

“Outdoor experience was fabulous. The lagoon and nature surrounding it was perfect. Furniture was comfortable. The screened in porch could use more housekeeping.”

“We are truly enjoyed our stay at this cute property. Our trip was cancelled due to hurricane Helene in Florida, so it was the last minute booking. The area is very nice and quite , beach is 5 min walking . Would love to come back in a future .”

“Lovely two night stay at this cottage. The screened in porch was to die for, with a beautiful view of the harbor. Could have sat there all day! The cottage was clean, had all the necessary amenities (with a lot of extra towels which was a small thing, but such a nice thing), and plenty of space for us to be together but have separate rooms. It's a bit dated but still very nice. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I hoped and the primary shower was very small but otherwise, it was an amazing find!……

“I would love to give Excellent ratings, but the smell of smoke was so strong in the elevator and in my room that it irritated my eyes and throat. The room size was wonderful and having a full kitchen was a game changer. Great communication with staff and security was great as well. ”
