“The property was fine. Nothing exceptional or terrible. The AC unit didn't work well, so it felt damp, but the room was clean, and desk staff were friendly. The daily breakfast was fine. There weren't any dining options within walking distance. The area felt like it was in transition, with a lot of empty businesses. We rented a car as wanted to go around Charleston, so it didn't matter much for our experience in town, but it was more out of the way than I was expecting. (That's a me error, and……

“The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We especially liked the kitchen and amenities. We did have an issue with our toilet upon arrival, but it was handled immediately. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning, and the coffee was great. The staff was very friendly and responsive. ”

“The keycard worked intermittently. Carpet in the hallway was stained. The steps to the second floor had food spills on them. The door knob to the toilet/shower was very loose, I tightened it so the door would stay closed. The sheets were threadbare. The shower creaked and popped when standing in it. The room was quiet and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Unable to get a weather channel on the tv. Coffee and breakfast items were good. ”
