“The property is very nice! I was just there for one night. I would definitely book for a longer stay. The owners are wonderful! We were trying to find the location using Google Maps, got super lost, St Thomas is NOT Google Maps friendly! Once we got a hold of the owner, he came and got us saving us the hassle of getting another taxi.”

“Awesome location, authentic vibes, very friendly and accommodating host. Walk down the hill and go to many of the bars/restaurant that line the water. I walked down the hill to get breakfast and coffee many times during my stay. Just be prepared for the uphill walk on the way back! Red hook is an excellent location to stay as many great attractions are near by. ”

“Stayed for one night in the Mermaid Pearl. The room was clean and had a nice view from the balcony. Close to upper pool. Sapphire beach is also in walking distance with a great beach and other restaurants. Highlight was Sudi’s restaurant that is home to the original Bushwacker drink. Micheal our host was super responsive and addressed our questions. Red Hook was close distance to catch ferry next morning. ”

I know things happen on “island time” but I was still very surprised to learn nothing had been done to the balcony when it came time for our trip.
