“We discovered our new go to place to stay in Canandaigua! We visit often to see family and often have a hard time finding a nice place to rest our head that is close to family, nice and affordable. Canandaigua Guest house reminded me of a Kimpton Boutique Hotel, my favorite. The rooms were very clean, exquisitely decorated, and comfy beds. The breakfast offered in the morning was perfect, you could grab a piece of homage pumpkin bread and yogurt to go or toast your self a bell and have it by……

“Our whole stay was beyond exceptional. We stayed here for a wedding on Seneca Lake. The history of the place was very interesting and informative. The atmosphere was remarkable, quiet, unique and serene. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Owners, Jean and Mike, were wonderful people to meet and talk to. The Brunch was unique and delicious. “We had difficulty finding the place but after that things were fine. I think the host was annoyed that we were running late getting there but I was requested to let her know when we were 15 minutes out which I did - unfortunately we had to drive around for about an extra 5 - 10 minutes because we couldn't locate the place. “Our stay at the Fox and the Grapes was excellent! We throughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, the main fireplace in the great room/lobby, and fireplace in our East Lake room. This was the perfect home base for our Seneca Lake wine tour! We enjoyed meeting Guinness, the friendly B&B German shorthair pointer, who made us feel welcome as well. We will definitely be coming back! ”
