“Had a wonderful and relaxing evening and breakfast at Sutherland. Very much enjoyed the group setting for breakfast and meeting the other guests. The cook did a really great job rearranging to accommodate a couple that accidentally forgot to book breakfast and the meal was delicious. We love the Canandaigua area for a quick “day and a half trip” and will absolutely stay here again.”

“Steph was a great host and her breakfasts were amazing. Very laid back and comfortable atmosphere and we appreciated the conversation with Steph during breakfast. We were in the area to see Mama Mia at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse, so it was a short stay for us. However, the Finger Lakes Region is great area with plenty to do during seasonal times Thank you Steph for a great stay!”

“The Knickerbocker room is beautifully decorated and has been tastefully updated. The bathroom is a really good size. There is also a cute private balcony. The home is very clean and doesn’t have any unpleasant smells that many older homes have. This B&B is close to many attractions in the Finger Lakes region. A local coffee shop is within walking distance. There are also many wineries and breweries in the area. We did find that due to the time of year, many places either close early or……

“Beautiful room and home, very clean!! Loved the amenities too. Amazing bathroom. Only issue was that the walls were very thin and we could hear everything other guests were doing. Since there are no TVs in the rooms, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop at times. We felt like we had to whisper inside our room. Perfect for a quiet getaway but bring earplugs just in case there’s a snorer in the next room.”

“We discovered our new go to place to stay in Canandaigua! We visit often to see family and often have a hard time finding a nice place to rest our head that is close to family, nice and affordable. Canandaigua Guest house reminded me of a Kimpton Boutique Hotel, my favorite. The rooms were very clean, exquisitely decorated, and comfy beds. The breakfast offered in the morning was perfect, you could grab a piece of homage pumpkin bread and yogurt to go or toast your self a bell and have it by……
